This is our annual program of vajrasattva practice which is usually always held in Jakarta, Indonesia. But this year, due to the covid situation, we host the same practice here at Boudhanath, Nepal and stream it online on Facebook. 

Vajrasattva, the Buddha of primordial purity is dedicated to the purification of negativities. The practice of Vajrasattva, or Dorje Sempa in Tibetan, cleanses all obscurations, particularly those related to transgressed vows and broken samayas. Buddha Vajrasattva made this great aspiration of achieving enlightenment, "When I attained perfect Buddhahood, may all beings be purified of their obscurations, their negative deeds, and their dense darkness of ignorance, simply by hearing my name, seeing my form, thinking of me, or reciting the mantra that contains my name."

This was total of 3 days of vajrasattva practice. We have gone live through Orgyen Pema Buddhist Society Facebook the entire day of puja for whole three days. We would like to extend our heartfelt immense gratitude to Rinpoche for the most precious blessing of vajrasattva, all those who participated in the puja together with us via online and last but the least, Orgyen Pema Indonesia - our branch in Indonesia for organizing this most sublime practise of vajrasattva.

There are a lot of people dying and suffering in this pandemic and through the blessing of this practice of vajrasattva, we pray to the glorious vajrasattva to keep his immense blessing upon all ignorant beings like us. May this meritorious virtue bring the rays of sunshine onto this heart wrenching pandemic.
