At the invitation of Simdha Getul Rinpoche, H. H Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche came to Jambi, which in the old ancient days was called Suvarṇadvīpa, which means the ‘golden island’: Suvarṇa means gold and dvīpa means island. Nowadays, this same island is named as sumatra Island and the ancient name was also kept in accord with the name of the great master Serlingpa. It was the most auspicious visit of H. H Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche when Kyabje Rinpoche and Simdha Rinpoche together inaugurated the Simdha Jangchub Lamzang centre in Jambi. It is the first dharma centre of Simdha Rinpoche in Indonesia, and we would like to congratulate and convey many tashi delek to Simdha Rinpoche and pray for his dharma activity in Indonesia to flourish as far and wide as space exists. The name of the centre was given by Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche himself and later, during his visit to the centre - Simdha Jangchub Lamsang, he told us that he was unware that the centre would be on the holy golden island where the great master Atisha and Serlingpa had been engaged in practices for 12 years and root of the all the teaching of the enlightenment path. The very name "Jangchub Lamsang" translates to the excellent path of the enlightenment and "Jangchub Lamsang" is particularly the one volume of the great vajradhara H.H. Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and also, the same year, Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche bestowed the elaborate empowerment of the Rangjung Pema Nyingtik in Indonesia which is the main terma of H. H Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche which marks the most auspicious day in the history of Indonesia. We in particularly felt it even more auspicious because it was bestowed in the auspicious year of the rabbit and the very name of H.H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche ; Rabsal Dawa represents the rabbit in the moon. During his visit to Jambi, Kyabje Rinpoche went on pilgrimage in Jambi and gave the teaching of mind training to the participants in Jambi. By the end of his visit, H.H Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche wrote the aspiration prayer to flourish the vajrayana in Indonesia. Here, is the link to read the aspiration prayer written by H.H Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche.
