About the Event
The Ganachakra practice is one of the core spiritual practices of Simdha Getul Rinpoche, and this year marks the 8th consecutive year that Orgyen Pema is hosting the 100,000 accumulation of Ganachakra Puja during the holy month of Saka Dawa — a month filled with immense merit. The full moon day of Saka Dawa, the 15th day, is especially sacred, as it commemorates not only the birth of Buddha, but also his enlightenment and parinirvana. The significance of this month is such that any virtuous action performed during this time is said to be multiplied by one hundred million times, bringing unparalleled merit.
